I had my first weekend in Melbourne and it was a different experience alltogether...

Melbourne is a very beautiful city with lots of places to see and explore,
If you are new to Melbourne, you will find lot of different kind of places to hang around and enjoy...

My first weekend was aimed more at exploring Melbourne, its popular tourist attractions,
landmarks, downtown areas and thats what i did.... i explored....

I started with Melbourne Aquarium, i have heard its australia's biggest aquarium...(is it true guys??)..
the aquarium is full of aquatic fellas in 2.2 million litres of water, you have got sharks, giant sting rays, beautiful jelly fishes and lots more...
btw, have you guys ever seen shark's egg? it looks weird.....
overall it was fun...

then i headed to banks of yarra river.....and i must say its one of the beautiful urban sightings...
its the kind of place where you can sit down whole day long and you will not know when the day ended...
the river divides melbourne in two parts and provides a beautiful look to the whole city....
a cruise on yarra river was a good way to explore the city and it was beautiful...
have a look...

the other day, went to Queen Victoria Market, the popular local market where you are supposed to get everything, melbourne museum, adjacent to the museum is the IMAX theatre which has got the world's biggest imax screen, went on an underwater ocean exploration trip in a three dimensional world...

i am also exploring the downtown areas of melbourne..........
the only problem i find with Melbourne is that it closes very early,
6 pm things start shutting down...so if you are planning to leave little late and roam around, you are outta luck!!!!

i am looking forward to my next weekend....let see what more melbourne has in store for me...
